Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18th 1967, is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were just some of her movie roles. On TV, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) as well as other starring roles including as Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013. She also starred as Michelle McBride on the first season of the series Goliath in 2016 and from 2017 through 2021, as the Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the show NCIS. Bello was born on 18 April 1967 in Norristown (New Jersey) to Kathy Bello, an educator and school nurse. Bello also appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama"ER" (1997-1998). Bello also appeared in various other roles, like Michelle McBride's role on the series' first season Touch in 2013 and that of Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane from NCIS from 2017 until 2021. Bello pursued a degree in political science at Villanova University. Bello was a stage actor in New York and continued to enhance her acting skills after graduation. Bello has her son Jackson with her former boyfriend Dan McDermott. Bello revealed in November 2013 that she had a same-sex affair with Clare Munn, her former partner. The book she wrote was published, Whatever...Love Is LOVE: Unpacking the Labels We Give to Ourself, (Dey Street Books) on April 28, 2015.
