Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a member in the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy communications director(2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was a political contributor for CNN from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's 2004 presidential race. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012 as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. The appointment at the Department of State fueled speculation that she would succeed White House Press Secretary Jay Carney after he left the White House. However on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014, it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. In the year 2015, she returned to the White House as communications director and stayed through the end of the Obama administration.
